Day 01 : Delhi - Mussoorie
Welcome on board at the Delhi Airport, where you would be received by our
tour representative who will assist and introduce you to the chauffer, who
drive's you throughout your tour. At first start your drive towards
Mussoorie - "The Queen of the Hill Stations". It is situated at
the foothills of the Himalayan Ranges. The name, Mussoorie is derived from
plants of 'Mussoorie' which were found in abundance here. The hill station
of Mussoorie is one of the most-loved tourist destinations of India. It has
a number of waterfalls, picnic-spots, temples and tourist bungalow On
reaching Mussoorie check in hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02 : Mussoorie
Morning after breakfast drive out for a local tour of this beautiful place.
Visit Gun Hill - the second highest peak of Mussoorie, one can get a bird's
view of Mussooie Town from this place, Municipal Garden, Camel's Back Road,
Childer's Lodge - snow view from this place is mind-blowing, Nag Devta
Temple, Van Chetna Kendra, Mussoorie Lake. Later on return back to the hotel
for a night stay.
Day 03 : Mussoorie
After breakfast drive out to visit the famous falls in Mussoorie. The
places of interest are Jharipani Fall, Bhatta Fall, Kempty Fall. Late in the
evening return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04 : Mussoorie - Ranikhet
After breakfast drive towards "The Queens Field" - Ranikhet. It
reflects the very best of the heavenly Himalayas; their lush green forests,
majestic mountain peaks, exotic plant and attractive wild life. Welcomes the
visitor. To see nature and its elements in full harmony, the right place to
be is Ranikhet. The charm of every season is irresistible in its own right.
And this is what makes Ranikhet an all season destination. On reaching this
place check in hotel and later on move out for a local tour. Visit Dwarahat,
Orchards at chaubatia and Jhula devi temple, the Kumaon Regimental Centre
Museum and Memorial are the jewels of Ranikhet and Cantonment, which is
situated amidst dense forests and many other places. Late in the evening
return back to the hotel for a overnight stay.
Day 05 : Ranikhet - Almora
After breakfast drive towards Almora which was also called as Rajapur Which
is mentioned over a number of ancient copper plates. The town of Almora is
situated over a horse saddle shaped ridge of a mountain. The eastern portion
of the ridge is known as Talifat and the western one is known as Selifat. On
reaching Almora check in hotel and later on move out for a local tour. Visit
Govind Vallabh Pant Public Museum - it has a collection of items relating to
history, archeology and cultural significance, Bright & Corner - the
famous place to view the Sunrise and Sunset, Simtola, Khajanchi Mohalla,
Tamta Mohalla, Koshi, Nanda Devi Temple, Chetai Temple and so on. It is also
famous for Pashmina shawls, woolen products like shawls, chutka, carpets and
thulma. Late in the evening return back to the hotel for a night stay.
Day 06 : Almora - Nainital
After breakfast enjoy the drive towards Nainital a tourist district which
is the pride of the Kumaon region in Himalayas. The hill resort is believed
to have derived its name from the goddess Naina. There is a temple dedicated
to the goddess Naina too in Nainital. Other legend claims that the Naini
Lake in Nainital lends its name to the hill resort. While there are many
other places equally beautiful, Nainital is certainly the most popular
tourist destination. On reaching Nainital check in hotel and relax for the
rest of the day along the scenic beauty.
Day 07 : Nainital
After breakfast drive out for a local tour of this beautiful place. Visit
he Naini Lake also known as the Tririshi Lake,the Cheena or the Naina Peak,
the Hanumangarh temple. Close to the temple is an observatory. Night view of
the moon from the observatory should not be missed. St. John Church - one of
the oldest building in Nainital. The British Cemetery and the vintage point
of the Dorothy's Seat are the other places of interest. Later on drive back
to the hotel for a night stay.
Day 08 : Nainital - Delhi
Morning after breakfast drive towards Delhi. On reaching Delhi check in
hotel and later in the noon move out for the local tour of Old and New
Delhi. The interesting places here are - The Red Fort, Qutab Minar, the Jama
Masjid are some of the wonders of architecture at Delhi, Lotus Temple,
Kalkaji Temple, Jantar Mantar, Humayun's Tomb, Cathedral Church, India Gate,
Rashtrapathi Bhavan, Craft Museum and so on. Later in the evening return
back to the hotel for a overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 09 : Delhi
After breakfast drive towards the Delhi Airport to board your flight to the
onwards destination.
