Day 01 : Coimbatore - Ooty

Welcome
on board at the Coimbatore airport, where you would be received by our
company representative who will assist and introduce you to the chauffer,
who drives you throughout your tour board the cab and proceed to Ooty
which is just 90km away .
Ooty - The Queen of Hill Stations. Ooty which is also
popularly known as Udhagamandalam. It was once a popular summer and weekend
gateway for the Britishers during the colonial days. It is at an altitude of
2,240 meters above sea level. You would be welcomed by the miles and miles
of tea gardens there. On reaching this beautiful city check in hotel for a
night stay.
Day 02 : Ooty
After breakfast, drive out for local tour of Ooty. The interesting places
here are Botanical Gardens, Ooty Lake, Dodabetta Peak stands at an
altitude of 2,623 metres, Lamb's Rock and so on. Later in the noon proceed
towards Coonoor is the second largest hill station in Nilgiris. Its
a small tea garden where the climate always remains cool. The best pastime
here is birdwatching as you will find a variety of birds here. The main
attraction is the Sim's Park - a small well maintained botanical garden,
Wellington ,Avalanche, Dolphin nose and so on. In the evening drive back to
Ooty for a over night stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Ooty - Kodaikanal
After breakfast enjoy the drive towards Kodaikanal ideally known as The
Princess of Hill stations. It is also known as Kodai, which is
situated on the southern tip of the upper Palani Hills, located at an
altitude of 2133 meters. The pride of Kodaikanal is the 'Kurinji-flower',
which blossoms once in 12 years. The wooded slopes, mighty rocks, enhancing
waterfalls and the beautiful lake welcomes the visitors. On reaching
Kodaikanal check in hotel for a night stay at the hotel.
Day 04 : Kodaikanal
Morning after breakfast drive towards a local tour of Kodai. The tourist
attractions in Kodaikanal are Berijam Lake, one of the beautiful picnic
spots in Kodai, Boat Club, Pillar Rocks, Telescope Houses, Silver Cascade
Bryant Park, The glasshouse and so on. Late in the evening drive back to the
hotel for a over night stay at Kodaikanal.
Day 05 : Kodaikanal - Munnar
Morning after breakfast, enjoy the drive along the scenic beauty to Munnar.
Munnar one of the most popular hill station in India, which was also
the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers. The sprawling tea
plantations welcomes the travellers. On arrival check in the resort for a
free day and a overnight stay in the resort.
Day 06 : Munnar

Morning
after breakfast proceed towards the local tour of Munnar which includes
Mattupetty Dam and farm, Devikulam, Pallivasal, Nyayamakad, Lock Heart Gap,
Rajamala, Eravikulam National Park, Power House Waterfalls, Echo Point,
Thommankuthu waterfalls and so on. Evening drive back to the hotel for a
overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 07 : Munnar - Thekkedy (Periyar)
Morning after breakfast drive towards Thekkedy which is just 100 kms away.
On arrival check in resort .Thekkedy is called as Periyar. Its one of the
most fascinating wildlife sanctuaries with wide range of flora, fauna and
unique birds which do not have any resemblance to any other sanctuaries in
the world. Its well known for elephants, unending chains of hills and spices
scented plantation. The Periyar forest is one of the finest wildlife
reserves in India.A cruise through the waters of Periyar lake around which
the wild -life sanctuary is situated, offers a soul - stirring pleasant
experience. Interesting place in Thekkedy - The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary,
The sanctuary watch towers, Kumily, Murikkady, Pandikuzhi, Mangala Devi
Temple and so on. Evening return back to the hotel for a overnight stay at
Thekkedy
Day 08 : Periyar - Kumarakom
Next morning drive to Kumarakom which is 140 Kms away from Thekkedy.
Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake along with
lush vegetation and great climate which attracts a number of tourist. On
arrival check in at the Kumarakom back water resort and later move for a
local tour of Kumarakom which includes Kumarakom bird sanctuaries, house
boat jetty and so on and over night stay at Kumarakom backwater resort.
Day 09 : Kumarakom - Alleppey
Morning after breakfast move into the deluxe house boat - a pleasant
journey to Kumarakom and Alleppey Backwaters. The journey in the house boat

known as the Paradise of the south. The name represents a grove
of Coconut trees, and the place also offers a endless sight of this. This
place is also well known for ayurvedic massage on the beach shore. The
cresent shaped beach has 3 parts the southern most a light
house beach, the northern Samudra and the middle hawah. The clean white
sandy beach will no doubt attract any tourist. Move towards the tour of
kovalam later in the noon. The impressive places are - Padmanabhapuram and
Kaudiar Palaces, Anchuthengu Fort, Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Palace

Day 11 : Kovalam - Kanyakumari
Morning after breakfast drive towards Kanyakumari for a. Kanyakumari It is
located at the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula. It was once known
as the Cape Comorin during the British rule. It is a paradise for both
nature lover and landscape photographers.On arrival check in beach hotel
later in the noon Visit the Kaniyakumari Temple, Vattakottai circular
fort, Wax museum Vivekananda rock ,Gandhi museum and so on. Later in the
evening resturn back to hotel for a night stay .
Day 12 : Kanayakumari - Rameshwaram

After
breakfast drive towards Rameshwaram which is hardly . Its an island which is
located at the tip of the Indian Peninsula. Rameshwaram is popularly
referred as the 'Benaras of the south'. Its one of the important Piligrimage
centre of the hindus, where lord Rama worshipped lord Shiva to cleanse away
the sins of Ravana. On reaching Rameshwaram check in hotel and then proceed
for a local tour of the city.The places of interest are -Agniteertham
,Ganghamathana Parvatham, Sarchi Hanuman temple ,five faced Hanuman temple
,Dhanushkodi,Annai Indira Gandhi Bridge. Return back to hotel in the evening
for a night stay .
Day 13 : Rameshwaram - Madurai
After Morning breakfast at hotel drive to Madurai .on Arrival check in
hotel later in the noon proceed for a tour of Madurai . Madurai, which is
also known as the cultural capital of Tamil Nadu From the ancient time
Madurai has its own pride for many reasons. The third Tamil Sangam or "Kadai
Sangam" through which the language Tamil got its fame is in Madurai. If
Madurai is viewed from a high altitude, we can find that the streets are
like concentric squares having the famous Meenakshi temple as the centre.
Also the streets are given the names of the Tamil months . The interesting
places in Madurai are - Meenakshi Temple - an excellent example of Dravidian
architecture, this temple is dedicated for lord Shiva and Parvathi or
Meenakshi, Tirumalai Nayak Mahal, The Gandhi Museum, Azhagar Koil, Koodal
Alagar Temple, Vaigai Dam, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and so on. Late in the
evening return back to hotel for a night stay at the city .
Day 14 : Madurai - Thanjavur
Morning after breakfast drive to Thanjavur which is also known as the Rice
bowl of Tamil Nadu. It was once the capital of the Chola Kings. On reaching
this beautiful city check in hotel and then proceed for a local tour of
Thanjavur. The places to be visited in and around this city is The
Brahadeeswarar Temple and the Shiva Temples at Darasuram and Thirubuvanam
reflects the Chola architecture. Palace which is partly built by the Nayaks
and the Marathas, Schwartz Church which was built in the year 1779 A.D,
Museums, Nayak Durbar Hall Art Museum and Rajaraja Chola Museum and so on.

Day 15 : Thanjavur - Tirchy
After breakfast drive towards Tiruchirapally, which is now called as Trichy
is situated on the banks of the river Cauvery is the fourth largest city in
Tamil Nadu.It is a find blend of tradition and modernity built around the
Rock Fort. This city is famous for cigars, handloom cloth, glass bangles and
wooden and clay toys. On reaching trichy chek in hotel and later proceed to
a local tour of the city. The places of interest are Rock Fort, St
Johns Church, Srirangam, Nathaavalli Dargah, Museum and so on. Late in
the evening return back to the hotel for a night stay in the city.
Day 16 : Tirchy - Pondicherry
Morning after breakfast, drive towards Pondicherry which is 140 Kms away
from Chennai . Pondicherry which was a French colony, and the French
influence can be traced even till date. On reaching Pondicherry check in
hotel for a night stay at Pondicherry.
Day 17 : Pondicherry

Morning
after breakfast move our for a local tour of Pondicherry. The places to be
seen here are Auroville, The French Heritage, Pondicherry Museum,
Chunnambar Resort, Botanical Garden, Eglise de Sacre Coeur De Jesus, and so
on. Later in the evening drive back to the hotel for a night stay in
pondicherry.
Day 18 : Pondicherry - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuarm
After breakfast enjoy the drive towards the City of Thousand Temples
Kachipuram, which is just - Kms away. It was earlier called as Kanchi or
Kachiampathi. Its called as the land of temples and is also known for
manually woven silk sarees. The interesting places are Ekambaranatha
Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, Kachapeshwarar Temple, Kailasanatha Temple
and many more. Later drive towards Mahabhalipuram which is also called as
Mamallapuram, its known for the shore temples, Mahabalipuram Beach,
Arjunas Penance, Five Rathas (Five monolithic temples), Tigers
Cave, The shore temple and so on. Late in the evening drive back to hotel
for a night stay at Mahabalipuram.
Day 19 : Mahabalipuram - Chennai
Morning drive to Chennai which is 50km away from Mahabalipuarm check in
hotel Chennai which is firmly known as madras-Capital of Tamilnadu. It is
the fourth largest metropolitan city, its the third largest commercial
and industrial center in India. It for its cultural heritage temple
architecture classical music and dance performances. Later in the noon move
out for a local tour of Chennai. The interesting places are marina beach
(the second largest beach in the world), Anna Nagar tower (The biggest park
tower in Chennai). Anna Zoological Park, Birla Planetarium, Crocodile Bank,
Fort St.George, Horticultural Gardens, MGM Dizzy world, SnakePark,
theosophical Society and others, later in the evening return back to the
hotel for a night stay in Chennai
Day 20 : Chennai
Morning after breakfast rest of the day is free for shopping
At T Nagar evening transfer to airport to board your onward
destination.
