Day 01 : Srinagar
Welcome
on board at the Srinagar Airport, where you would be received by our tour
representative who will assist and introduce you to the chauffer, who
drive's you throughout your tour. Srinagar which is the summer capital of
Jammu & Kashmir. It is also known as the Lake City. Its a small and
beautiful city with a wonderful climate. Just outside the city you can find
the beautiful Gardens. It has been serving as a gateway to some of the most
scenic and beautiful places of the Indian subcontinent. On reaching Srinagar
check into the houseboat and later on move out to enjoy the scenic beauty of
Srinagar. Visit Dal Lake, Shalimar Garden,Shankaracharya Temple. Late in the
evening return back to the house-boat for a night stay.
Day 02 : Srinagar
After breakfast drive out to visit Nishat Garden , Nagin Lake, Hazratbal
Shrine and others.Later on enjoy the adventurous sports for which Srinagar
is also known for. Do not forget to shop for the for traditional Kashmiri
handicrafts and dry fruits for which it is known for. Late in the evening
return back to the house boat for an overnight stay.
Day 03 : Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
After breakfast drive out for a day's excursion to Gulmarg which is one of
the splendid hill resort. It got its name from Sultan Yusuf Shah who was
impressed by the grassy hill adored by the colorful flowers. You can find at
least 21 varieties of flowers in this beautiful place. It also has one of
the highest golf course in the world. Stop at the , "View Point",
which in on the way to Gulmarg, from where one can admire the breathtaking
sight of the snow capped mountains. On reaching this beautiful place enjoy
skiing, take a Gandola ride (cable car ride), which takes the tourists up to
Kongdori from where one can view the mind-blowing sights of meadows from the
top, trek to Alpather Lake, and also visit the shrine of Baba Reshi, a
Muslim saint. Late in the evening drive back to Srinagar for an overnight
stay.
Day 04 : Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar
After
breakfast drive for a day's excursion towards Sonamarg also known as "Golden
Meadow". Sonamarg is a place of enchanting beauty with the snow-covered
mountains. The Nichnai Pass, near Sonamarg, offers a spectacular view of
three lakes, Kishensar, Vishensar and Gangabal, which are some of the famous
trekking destinations also. Sonamarg also serves as a base for undertaking
the holy yatra of the Amarnath cave. On reaching this place visit Zojila
Pass, Thajiwas range. Nichnai Pass and also enjoy the adventurous sports
like Trekking, Alpine Skiing,White water rafting, and also take a long walk
in this beautiful place. Late in the evening return back to Srinagar for an
overnight stay.
Day 05 : Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar
Morning after breakfast drive out for a day's excursion towards Pahalgam
which is one of the famous hill stations. It was earlier the Village of the
Shepherds. It was also ruled by the Mughals during the Medival period. There
are many interesting places in Pahalgam like Baisaran,. village of Mamal
where you can find one of the oldest temple of Shiva. Also get involved in
the adventurous sports like Golf, Trekking, Fishing, Trekking, Horse riding,
Alpine skiing, White water rafting and so on. Late in the evening drive back
to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Day 06 : Srinagar
Morning after breakfast drive towards Srinagar Airport to board your flight
to the onwards destination.
