Day 01 : Bagdogra - Darjeeling
Welcome
on board at the Bagdogra Airport, where you would be received by our tour
representative who will assist and introduce you to the chauffer, who
drive's you throughout your tour. Drive towards Darjeeling which is also
called as "Queen of the Hills". A place which is famous for its
tea industry. Darjeeling has several British-style public schools, which
attract students from many parts of India and neightbouring countries. On
reaching Darjeeling check in hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing in
this beautiful place.
Day 02 : Darjeeling
Morning after breakfast drive out for a local tour of Darjeeling. Visit
Tiger Hill - one can view the sunrise from this place which is mind-blowing;
you can also get a glimpse of Mount Everest, The Observatory Hill, The Toy
Train, Batasia Loop and the War Memorial, Tea Gardens, Japanese Peace
Pagoda, Ava Art Gallery and so on. Later in the evening return back to the
hotel for a night stay.
Day 03 : Darjeeling - Gangtok
Morning after breakfast drive towards Gangtok which is the capital and the
largest town of Sikkim. Gangtok literally means "lofty hill". It
is one of the famous hill stations here. On reaching Gangtok check in hotel
and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 04 : Gangtok
After
breakfast drive out for a local tour of Gangtok. Visit Rumtek Gompa it's a
rich Tibetan monastery, Tsongo or Changu Lake. Also get involved in the
adventurous sports like trekking, white-water rafting, hang gliding, yak
safari, and mountain biking. Late in the evening drive back to the hotel for
an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 : Gangtok - Kalimpong
After breakfast drive towards Kalimpong which is one of the hill station
which is nestled in the Shiwalik Hills. It is also famous for the flower
markets, especially the wide array of orchids. It also houses several
Buddhist monasteries which hold a number of rare Tibetan Buddhist
scriptures. This small hill station is located between Gangtok and Siliguri.
On reaching this beautiful hill station check in hotel and relax for the
rest of the day.
Day 06 : Kalimpong
After breakfast drive out for a local tour of Kalimpong to visit the
interesting places like - Gompas, Flower Nurseries, Shri Mangal Dham,
Sericulture Research Institute and so on. Late in the evening return back to
the hotel for a night stay.
Day 07 : Kalimpong - Bagdogra
After breakfast drive towards Bagdogra Airport to board your flight to the
onwards destination.
