Day 01 : Bangalore
On
arrival at the Bangalore airport meet our tour guide who would transfer you
to the hotel. Bangalore which is now renamed as Bengalooru. It’s the
capital of Karnataka which is located on the Mysore Plateau in south western
Karnataka. It’s the 5th largest metropolitan City. Its also referred as
“The Garden City”, “The Silicon Valley of India”, and so
on. Late in the noon proceed for a local tour of Bangalore which includes
Cubbon park, Lalbagh, Vidhana Soudha, The Jumma Masjid, Tipu’s fort,
Government museum, Venkatappa Art Gallery, Bull temple, Viswesvaraya museum,
Ganesh temple, Gavipuram Cave Temple, St. Mary’s Basilica Church,
Auqarium, and many other places. Later in the evening drive back to the
hotel for a night stay in the Garden City.
Day 02 : Bangalore - Mysore
After breakfast drive towards Mysore which is the second largest city in
Karnataka. It was once the capital of the Wodeyars. Its famous for its
heritage palaces and the sandalwood products. On reaching Mysore check in
hotel and later move out for the local tour of the Sandalwood city –
Mysore. The places of interest are – Mysore Palace, St. Philomena Church,
Chamundi Hills, Lalith Mahal Palace, Chamarajendra Art Gallary, Brindavan Garden,
Mysore Zoo and many more. Later in the evening drive back to the hotel for a
night stay at Mysore.
Day 03 : Mysore - Shravanabelagola - Hassan
After breakfast, enjoy a plesant drive towards the historical and the Jain
Piligrimage Centre in India – Shravanabelagola, which is just --- kms
away. This place is known for the idol of Lord Gomateshwara which is found
here. Later proceed towards Hassan and check in hotel for a overnight stay
at Hassan.
Day 04 : Hassan - Hospet
After
breakfast, drive towards Hospet. After reaching the city check in hotel and
enjoy the rest of the day at the hotel in Hospet.
Day 05 : Hospet - Hampi
Morning after the delicious breakfast move towards Hampi –“The
city of ruins” which is just 13 kms away. It was earlier the capital of
the Vijayanagar Empire. Its called as “The World Heritage Centre”.
It is bounded by the Tungabhadra river on one side and surrounded by
defensible hills on the other three sides. The main tourist attraction are
Virupaksha Temple – dedicted for Lord Shiva, Tungabhadra River –
the sacred river in South India, Ugra Narasimha – dedicated for Lord
Narasimha, Lotus Mahal, Vittal Temple, Hazara Rama Temple and so on. Later
in the evening drive back to Hospet for a overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 06 : Hospet - Bijapur
After breakfast drive towards Bijapur – a city known for the great
architectures of historical importance, where you can find numerous heritage
sites. It was the capital of the Adil Shah Dynasty. On reaching Bijapur check in
hotel and later in the noon drive out for a local tour of this city. The
places of interest are Gol Gumbass – the tomb of Md Adil Shah, Jumma
Masjid, the Malik-e-Maiden, Ibrahim Roza and so on. Later in the evening
return back to the hotel for a night stay.
Day 07 : Bijapur - Badami
After breakfast drive towards Badami which was the centre of the ancient
Chalukyan glory another heritage. It is known for the rock-cut and structural
temples. This place is also known as Vatapi. On reaching Badami check in hotel
and later on move out for a local tour. Visit the Hindu and Jain temples carved
out of sand stone hills, cave temples and other heritage sites. Later in the
evening drive back to the hotel for a overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08 : Badami - Pattadakal - Aihole - Badami
Morning
after breakfast drive towards the Pattadakal which is famous for its group
of monuments. It was the capital of the Chalukya Dynasty where you can find
numerous world heritage site. Visit Virupaksha Temple, Sangameshwara Temple,
Kashivishwanatha Temple, the Jain temples, Museum of the plains and so on.
Later proceed towards Aihole which is called as “The Cradle of Hindu Rock
Architecture”. It is located at the west of Badami along the Malapraba
River. Visit Meguti Jain temple, Durga temple, Ravanaphadi temple is a rock cut
temple and so on. Late in the evening drive back to hotel at Badami for an
overnight stay.
Day 09 : Badami - Goa
After breakfast drive towards Goa – The Paradise on Earth. Its located
on the west coast of India. It is know for its beautiful beaches, world
heritage architecture. On reaching Goa check in resort and later on move out
for a local tour of this city. The places of interest are - Mormugao
Harbour, Dona Paula Beach , Calangute Beach and so on. Late in the evening
return back to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 10 : North Goa
After breakfast drive towards North Goa and visit the tourist places here.
Panaji, the capital of Goa, Arambol Beach, Aguada Fort, Dona Paula Calangute
Beach, Baga Beach, Old Goa Church, and many others. Late in the evening
return back to the resort for a overnight stay.
Day 11 : South Goa
After breakfast drive towards the local tour of South Goa, the interesting
places here are Colva beach, Bogmalo beach, Santa Durga Temple and others.
Late in the evening return back to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 12 : Goa
Morning after breakfast drive towards Goa airport to board the flight for
onward destination
