Ayurveda in India

SLS Tourist - India TourismAyurveda is regarded as the most ancient and traditional medical science of the world. This originated in India in pre-vedic period. Rigveda and Harvard-Neda have the references on health and diseases. Some Ayurvedic texts such as Charak Samhita were written 1000 B.C. So, this is being practiced successfully in India for centuries. We can understand its importance, if we compare it with the other forms of the medicine. The advanced versions of Allopathic medicines get outdated in months, but the age-old formulations of the Ayurveda work till date. We agree that Allopathy has brought the revolutionary inventions in medical science, but we will also have to accept that Ayurveda is a natural and holistic therapy which has very nominal side-effects on the body.
